The Glenwood R-8 District will be hosting its Annual Open House on Tuesday, August 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and strongly encourages all families to attend this event. During this time you are welcome to visit with board members and support staff. Your child will also have the opportunity to meet with their teachers, and students in grades 5-8 will be able to receive their schedule at that time. All patrons are welcome to come and tour the facilities, as well as enjoy a grilled hotdog and soda. If you are new to our district, this is a wonderful opportunity to get your child enrolled for school. Please bring birth certificates, immunization records, and proof of residency. The school nurse will also be on-hand should there be medical or health needs that our district should be made aware of. Bus drivers will be present to visit with parents, making it the perfect opportunity to let our Glenwood family know the transportation arrangements for your child.
