Literacy Night is tonight! We hope all of our Glenwood families can join us! We will have a FREE meal in the gymnasium from 5:00-6:00PM consisting of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, corn on the cob, and a dessert. Classroom activities are 6:00-7:00PM, fireworks are at 7:15PM behind the school, and the book fair is open 5:00-8:00PM. Come celebrate stars, stripes, and stories with us!

Glenwood runners participating in the cross country meet at West Plains tomorrow need to wear black shorts and a gray Glenwood shirt. Mrs. Hayes will have a jersey for them. The 3rd and 4th grade students participating need to be at the West Plains High School Track by 4:30PM. Students in grades 5-8 will ride a bus to the meet.

Baseball and softball games today are CANCELED. The fields are just too wet from the rain yesterday and overnight despite a lot of effort to get them ready this morning. The tournament games will be pushed back one additional day. Glenwood A-team baseball and softball will play at Richards tomorrow, Friday, September 26, at 9:00AM. We apologize for all of the confusion and delays.
Coaches are working to dry the fields at Richards. Games are now tentatively scheduled to begin at 12:00PM for Glenwood A-team baseball and softball. Additional rain last night has forced the games to be pushed back a little later. A confirmation message will be sent by 10:30AM to confirm the game times. We apologize for any inconvenience!
HCAA baseball and softball games are still planned for tomorrow. However, times may need to be adjusted and pushed back due to the rain we received this evening. A message will be sent out by 8:00AM with the game times. They are tentatively scheduled to be pushed back by two hours, with our A-team baseball and softball games beginning at 11:00AM. A permission slip is being sent home with cross country runners today, and it MUST be returned by no later than Friday, September 26, for runners to participate in an upcoming cross country meet. The meet will be on Tuesday, September 30, at the West Plains High School Track. Thank you!
