Due to problems with the Howell County Water District, Glenwood will NOT be able to start summer school tomorrow, Monday the 8th. High school buses will run as scheduled. We are in hopes of beginning Tuesday morning.

A reminder for 8th graders and their parents: Make sure to bring caps and gowns for graduation practice in the morning and all 8th graders must be picked up at 11:30 am. Also, make plans to return at 5:30 pm with graduation beginning at 6:00 pm.

Today! Join us in celebrating Glenwood Superintendent Mr. Wayne Stewart as he retires from education at the conclusion of the current school year. A retirement celebration will be held today, from 2:00-4:00PM at the Glenwood school. We hope to see you there!

On Monday, May 1st, please make sure all students wear tennis shoes and shorts that can get color stains on them, bring a towel and change of clothes, and their BBQ items. All parents are invited to join the festivities at 12:45 p.m.

Reminders of important times for all 8th grade students, parents, and loved ones: Thursday - 2:15 class and sports awards Friday - SDC trip, bus leaves no later than 6:15 am and returns at 10 pm ***all students MUST wear their 8th grade t-shirt Tuesday - graduation practice all morning and students need picked up by 11:30, please return by 5:30. Graduation begins at 6 pm

The 5/6th grade HCAA Conference track meet events will be moving quickly tomorrow because of incoming weather. The order of events have not changed, but times will be different. Sorry for any inconvenience for those taking off work. There will not be a make up day if rain moves in early.

Attention: the PTO ice cream Friday will be Thursday this week because of the track meet and petting zoo field trip. Send ice cream money tomorrow!

Reminder: there is a track meet after school at West Plains Middle School tomorrow for 7/8th grade track. A bus will take us over, but athletes need picked up there by 7. Everyone needs to bring their jerseys to school. Pizza and drink will be available for $2. There is also a concession stand.
