The Glenwood R-VIII School District is now taking applications for regular and substitute school bus drivers for current and anticipated openings. These employees will drive district buses to safely transport students between bus stops and school, on field trips or as assigned. Tonight is Literacy Night! There will be food, fun, the book fair, and most importantly, reading! Supper begins at 5 PM followed by activities at 6:15 PM. We hope you will join us for an exciting night under the stars!
This Friday, September 30th will be Picture Retake Day! If your child missed pictures or needs to have their picture retaken, Friday is the day! Please contact the school with any questions.

Reminder, the awards ceremony for grades 1-2 will be at 8:30AM, grades 3-4 will be at 9:15AM, and grades 5-7 will be at 10:00AM tomorrow morning in the Glenwood gym. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate for field day today. However, we do plan to do the color run tomorrow. Please have your child pack dry/clean clothes tomorrow, and have them wear shorts/pants and shoes that can get dirty. Thank you!

Tomorrow is the beginning of an important week of testing for all Glenwood students. K-2 students will take the Stanford test, and students in grades 3-8 will take the MAP tests. Attendance is extremely important! Please help us by ensuring your child is at school and on-time each day. A good night of sleep each night is very important too!
